Brooklyn Networks helps unemployed and low-income New Yorkers start careers in high-speed data and voice transmission cable installation.  After intensive training in our custom-built lab, Brooklyn Networks graduates are placed in jobs as technicians with companies installing voice and data lines, security systems, broadcast cable and audio/video systems.

Brooklyn Networks begins with a multi-part screening process.  Accepted students then complete 5 weeks of full-time training in the Brooklyn Networks lab at New York City College of Technology

Brooklyn Networks graduates are trained in the nationally-recognized BICSI curriculum.  To certify, students must pass rigorous written and hands-on BICSI examinations.

Brooklyn Networks was launched in 2001 and has helped more than 400 New Yorkers start careers in high-speed data and voice transmission cable installation.
