Brooklyn Woods - Green Cabinets

Brooklyn Woods operates one of the only cabinetmaking businesses in New York City that builds exclusively with environmentally-friendly materials.

The cabinetmaking business provides trainees with real life on-the-job experience and provides developers and homeowners with low-cost “green” cabinets and kitchen units.

Brooklyn Woods cabinets are built with FSC certified mixed use credit, or mixed 92% sheet materials that have No Added Urea-Formaldehyde (NAUF) and UV cured finishes. Cabinet doors are finished with low VOC water based lacquers.

In each of our projects we seek to minimize environmental impact, provide a safe working environment for our trainees, and create beautiful, healthy living spaces for our customers.
