Shooting in New York?  Need a Good PA?

Brooklyn Workforce Innovations has placed trained, experienced production assistants on more than 800 productions. You can depend on “Made in NY” PAs to be pre-screened, trained, experienced, and easy to hire.

Pre-screened
Every “Made in NY” PA is a licensed driver who has undergone a rigorous selection process.  Our program is highly competitive. We accept fewer than 10% of applicants.  We choose individuals who demonstrate outstanding motivation, commitment and financial need.

Trained
Trainees receive over 160 hours of classroom and field training that is directly relevant and immediately applicable to working as a production assistant, on set or in the production office.  The four week full-time training curriculum is taught by industry professionals, and includes work on actual productions.

Experienced
Our graduates have worked on feature films, episodic and reality TV, commercials, music videos, documentaries and news.  In addition to skilled set and office PAs, our graduate roster includes assistant coordinators, key PAs and unit PAs in locations, art department, wardrobe and more.

How to hire a “Made in NY” PA
We can arrange interviews or direct placements, several weeks in advance or at a moment’s notice.  This is a free service offered to productions shooting in NYC and surrounding areas.
