Single Stop

All Brooklyn Workforce Innovations participants, as well as other members of the FAC community, have access to free entitlements advocacy, legal advice and/or representation, tax preparation services and financial counseling through Single Stop.

Single Stop helps participants obtain benefits and supports while they transition from training to permanent employment and self-sufficiency. BWI graduates also have the opportunity to open federally-matched Individual Development Accounts to save for further training and education, or business investments.

BWI’s Single Stop is part of a nationwide initiative and is funded by the Robin Hood Foundation.
